Howdy, friends!! It’s been a good hot minute since I’ve talked to y’all, so I want to apologize for being so MIA. Let’s just say work has been kickin’ my butt these past couple of months, so I haven’t had a lot of time on the weekends to catch up on blog posts. BUT, I’m back + just in time for one of my favorite yearly events in Houston! It’s RODEO time, y’all! I love the fried food, the carnival, the concerts, the fried food — oops, did I already mention that one? 😉 I’m so excited to have put together a couple of Rodeo-inspired looks’ for y’all — one of them in collaboration with Soulfully Adorned! Jen, from Soulfully Adorned, was sweet enough to send me this gorgeous handmade Longhorn necklace that I paired with my first look! Keep reading to see more deets. 🙂
Look 1: The Girly Cowgirl
For this look, I paired a flowy green tunic dress, that I picked up from Ross awhile back, with a denim vest over it.
I wore a pair of black booties with this look to go with the black leather on my Soulfully Adorned necklace. ❤ I added a brown clutch because I love the color combination of olive + brown + black.
The beauty of the Soulfully Adorned necklace is in the details, but also that the length is adjustable! You can adjust it to fall lower or higher, wherever you like. 🙂
Thank you again, Jen – the Longhorn necklace is absolutely beaut!

Look 2: The De-stressed Cowgirl
For this look, I wore a pair of distressed jeans with a white cold-shoulder top that I knot-tied. I paired this look with some boots + a blue crossbody, for a pop of color.
I love this look cause it felt pretty low maintenance while still being cute! Plus all the holes in my top + jeans were great for a day at the Rodeo! 😉
p.s. you can pretty much turn any button up shirt into a knot tee like I did!
Hope y’all enjoyed this post + have fun at the Rodeo!! Best. Time. Of. The. Year. 🙂
‘Til next time y’allllllllll,
