Workout With Me @ Aerial Barre Yoga!

Hi there Squatters! I’ve seen aerial yoga become increasingly popular over the past few years, so I decided to give it a try earlier this year + it was so much fun! Definitely much harder than it looks, but fun nonetheless. Hanging upside down + all around in a silk hammock requires a lot of core strength (plus a little bit of trust), so it’s a great workout. So when I came across this aerial barre yoga class I knew I had to try it. I’ve never done a barre class before (on my to-try list though!), but I figured why not combine the two and give a shot. Y’all…it was such a challenging workout! I was actually sweating and yes, there were a few times I wanted to give up + leave, but I’m glad I didn’t. ;).

My Current Nighttime Skin Care Routine

Since Halloween just passed on Monday, I thought this would be the perfect time to share my current nighttime skin care routine! Yanno…since most of us probably need to do a little extra lovin’ on our skin after last weekend… ;). I say ‘current’ skin care routine because, like most people, mine changes from time to time. Halloween Costumes for Procrastinators

OK, so if you’re anything like me when it comes to Halloween costumes, you’re currently realizing that Halloween is just a few days away + you have yet to figure out what TF you’re gonna be this year. Can’t go dressed as a nerd again, cause welllll…people may start to think that it’s no longer actually just a costume. ;). My Work It, Twerk It Playlist

What did people do the days before headphones and on-the-go music came to be? How did one find any motivation to work out, go run, and do all of that without any good pump-up, feel-good music?! I have no idea how they did it, but I’m so glad we’ve made it this far where we can just plug in a pair of headphones to our phones (err, “connect wirelessly”? #iPhone7 #smh 🙄 #NoThanks), and go for a run. It’s pretty much the only way you’ll get me to work out, so it’s safe to say that music is an extremely important factor to my workout plan. With that said, I wanted to share my motivation with y’all!
